As an Integrations Engineer (API Specialist), you'll play a critical role in connecting systems, streamlining workflows, and ensuring seamless communication between platforms. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of operations and clinical teams, supporting the delivery of cutting-edge healthcare solutions.


Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: PHP

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (Massachusetts)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrations between systems such as HubSpot and/or NikoHealth
  • Analyze workflows and define triggers to send information across systems
  • Map and transform data fields between systems
  • Develop automation workflows (Zapier, Make, n8n) or custom middleware in when required
  • Ensure integrations are reliable, secure, and compliant with healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Monitor integrations, resolve errors, and maintain documentation for the team

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot API; familiarity with NikoHealth API is a plus
  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript ) for building integrations
  • Knowledge of data mapping and transformation best practices
  • Understanding of authentication methods (OAuth, API keys)
  • Bonus: experience in healthcare software integrations and compliance/security requirements

  • Nice to Have:

  • Experience with RevOps / Business Systems

  • Background in CRM integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
