
Clinical Services Manager

The Manager, Clinical Services will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the direct reports, including members of the Clinical Services team. The manager will support the core values of the company while ensuring they are supporting quality and efficiency through our Clinical Services offering. The Manager participates in driving decisions regarding best practices, plans, procedures, team growth and development. This is an exempt position.
Job Responsibilities:
Participates in hiring, evaluating, developing, and coaching employees in
conjunction with human resources as applicable.
Participates in annual evaluations/reviews of direct report employees.
Regular one to one meeting cadence with direct report employees to ensure
professional growth and development plans are determined and set steps for
progression.
Manage interview and clinical queues to promote prompt turnaround time (TAT)
Responsible for day-to-day operations of all clinical services processes and
activities as assigned.
Manage daily challenges of team members.
Collaboration with Clinical, Credentialing and Quality team members to maintain continual Joint Commission readiness.
Trend clinical issues that yield opportunity for education/training and facilitate subsequent training development.
Collaborate with recruiters and client care managers to resolve clinical or competency requirements.
Drive effective and efficient process improvements.
Collaborate with IT department to drive quality and efficiency.
Ability to present to clients and drive conversations with senior client leadership.
Create education and training for team members inside and outside of the
clinical services team.
Coordinates and facilitates educational opportunities for internal and external clinical team members.
Coordinate and managing in conjunction with Learning and Development team the orientation schedule for new hires that is consistent, effective and eliminates redundancy.
Job Qualifications:
RN degree from accredited school of nursing
Active PRC License, USRN
Seven years of acute clinical care setting experience
Three years of progressive leadership experience
Thorough understanding of policy and procedure interpretation, writing and
teaching
Understanding of process improvement
Must be self-directed in improving and acquiring the abilities and skills
necessary to enhance job performance
Superior organizational skills
Ability to stay on task with minimal direction
Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple distractions
Ability to handle large workload, while maintaining high level of quality work
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
Strong computer skills. Proficient utilizing Microsoft Outlook and Office
programs
Ability to track/trend data utilizing Excel
Ability to navigate custom designed platforms and databases
Confident with internet research capabilities and skills
Ability to research and critically think to find solutions for issues
Strong team player
Confident in decision making and able to make decisions at times with limited information
Ability to work with others inside and outside the team.
Personable, friendly, and upbeat personality.
Preferences:
Experience handling people
Knowledge of US healthcare system, travel industry and hospital standards is an advantage
One year of healthcare travel industry experience
