Sales Account Manager

The Account Manager will act as the point of contact for all business related of the specified accounts. Working closely with all internal departments impacting the business, the Account Manager will enjoy the autonomy to make the role their own, driving growth within existing or new accounts. The Account Manager will be flexible enough to handle a variety of duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Sales Channels: Serve as the primary contact between sales channels and internal departments at vidaXL. Build and strengthen relationships to foster long-term partnerships, develop strategic sales plans, and ensure KPIs are met. Establish a regular check-in schedule to assess account health and uncover new business opportunities.
- Improve Sales Performance: Analyze data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for enhancing sales. Ensure timely product launches and accurate representation across all sales channels, advertising, and marketing materials.
- Prepare Presentations: Responsible for preparing and delivering daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Team Leader.
- Product Integration: Collaborate with the Publication and Integration teams to understand product creation and integration processes, ensuring effective communication between sales channels and vidaXL's technical departments.
- Project Management: Coordinate demand generation activities with operations and project management teams to effectively meet targets.
- Marketplace Success: Focus on newly launched channels, ensuring performance targets are met and promptly addressing any issues.
- Assist with Sales Strategy: Support the Team Leader in executing sales strategies, including developing plans that enhance brand awareness and maintain vidaXL's strong e-commerce presence.
Requirements
The Account Manager acts as a central contact for all departments, requiring excellent communication skills and a competitive, energetic, and driven mindset. Successful candidates will possess a solid understanding of current sales trends and technologies, demonstrating analytical skills to identify effective strategies and areas for improvement.
They should align sales goals with the company's growth strategy, seek innovative methods for maximum results, and stay informed about e-commerce trends to develop actionable plans for underperforming accounts. Additionally, the role demands strong organizational skills, adaptability to changing circumstances, and a sense of responsibility for tasks and outcomes.
- E-commerce Knowledge: Strong understanding of online activities related to sales improvement through partnerships, traffic acquisition, sales conversion, content enhancement, A/B testing, and reporting.
- Planning and Organizing: Set priorities and outline the actions, timeframes, and resources needed to achieve goals.
- Initiative and Innovation: Actively seek opportunities for process, product, or service improvements, preferring innovation over maintaining the status quo.
- Decisiveness: Make timely decisions and express opinions when required.
- Helicopter View: Maintain an overview of projects and issues, understanding both their individual components and overall context.
- Negotiating: Achieve optimal outcomes in discussions involving conflicting interests while maintaining amicable relationships.
- Leadership: Guide teams and individual employees to establish effective collaborations and achieve set goals.
