About the Role:

This 7-week intensive program will equip learner with fundamental knowledge of New Zealand accounting and taxation, and the governing laws thereof. Gain a solid understanding of what GST is and how to code business transactions to report the correct amount of taxes to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD). Navigation of Xero accounting software will allow you to apply your learnings on GST coding and the basic navigation of the software. Using the same software, periodic reports, including GST returns and annual income tax returns for individuals and companies, will be finalized and generated based on common business transactions encountered.

About You:

2+ Years of Local Accounting Experience

Skilled in Bookkeeping, Journal Entries, General Ledger, Trial Balance, VAT, ITR, and Financial Statement Analysis

Graduate of Accountancy or a related field

Strong command of written and spoken English
