PV Performance Analyst

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Monitoring & Analysis

  2. Daily monitoring of site performance using RMS, data loggers, or performance monitoring platforms.

  3. Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production data against expected generation, irradiation, and performance ratio targets.
  4. Identify underperformance, energy losses, and root causes (e.g., equipment failure, soiling, shading, degradation, CPF).

  5. Generate and present performance dashboards and reports to Site Performance Manager.

  6. Root Cause Investigation & Technical Support

  7. Diagnose production losses (e.g., shading, inverter downtime, soiling, degradation)

  8. Work with O&M teams to recommend maintenance or design improvements.

  9. Data Management & Reporting

  10. Analyze plant performance trends against expected models (PVsyst, Helioscope, etc.).

  11. Perform Daily, Weekly, monthly energy production and site performance analysis.
  12. Prepare periodic reports (daily, monthly, quarterly) for management and clients.
  13. Work closely with Finance for site billing generation, post billing audit, and other adjustments
  14. Maintain accurate records for audits, certifications, and performance guarantees

  15. Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory performance standards

  16. Technical Support & Coordination

  17. Work closely with O&M teams to analyze maintenance impact on performance

  18. Support asset management with technical insights for financial forecasting and budgeting

  19. Contribute to annual performance testing and degradation analysis

  20. Forecasting & Benchmarking

  21. Develop and maintain performance baselines and weather-adjusted metrics

  22. Forecast generation based on irradiance data and seasonal patterns

  23. Process Optimization

  24. Propose efficiency improvements or technology upgrades

  25. Support predictive maintenance through trend analysis and fault detection

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
•

Site Performance Committed Energy vs. Delivered Energy

  • Availability Rate.
  • Energy Yield deviation vs. committed.
  • GHG calculations
  • Issue resolution time (MTTR).
  • Equipment Health (MTBF)
  • Accuracy and timeliness of performance reports.
  • Implementation of improvement actions.

Qualifications:
• Education:

o Electrical, Renewable Energy, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent

o PRC License (Electrical Engineer) preferred.


• Experience:

o 1-5 years in solar PV O&M, performance analysis, asset management, or system design

o Hands-on experience with solar SCADA systems, data monitoring platforms (e.g., Power BI, PowerFactors, Solar-Log, or similar).


• Skills:

o Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills.

o Strong understanding of electrical systems and inverter operations.

o Proficient in Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools.

o Strong communication and reporting ability.

o Familiar with data acquisition systems and performance ratio calculations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php35,438.00 per month
