- At least 3-5 years experience in merchandising environment and experience in Retail Industry.
- Experience in managing people
- Able to work individually and in a team environment
- Good interpersonal skill and communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure plans and programs for strategic vendor sourcing & develop programs per category.
- Managing procurement strategies for assigned categories ( Stock Plan/Open to buy )
- Develop Category promotions, highlights for revenue drivers
- Manage category margins that will support bottom line profits.
- Forecast sales, inventory, & margins to support business objectives
- Provide leadership to direct reports – category managers for performance management
- Demonstrate and promote organizational vision and mission
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
