Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and implement project work plans and review them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

  2. Identify construction issues to be resolved through site surveys for potential locations.

  3. Convey and assist in negotiating with private and public providers.

  4. Conduct on-site visits and coordinate with the construction crew and operations personnel.

  5. Convey and supervise contractors and subcontractors.

  6. Develop, maintain and improve any business relationships vital to division success.

  7. Establish and manage relations with independent contractors and vendors and negotiates the best possible rates for their products and services.

  8. Conduct quality control for work performed by independent contractors.

  9. Evaluate the project and recommend the report to identify issues and opportunities to improve performance.

  10. Interact clearly, constructively, and positively with all departments to ensure projects are completed effectively and with minimal disruption to planned events.

  11. Participate actively to improve department efficiency, reduce costs and assist in the improvement of products through customer experiences.

  12. Supervise and stimulate procurement activities as required ensuring on-time delivery of components and equipment.

  13. Develop and maintain relations with clients as required establishing correct interfaces and presenting a professional image.

  14. Support cost-saving development initiatives and delivery process improvements.

ESSENTIAL SKILL

  • Comprehensive knowledge of building design, architectural systems, and applicable codes;
  • Intermediate skills in the use of application software;
  • Ability to establish relationships with new clients and nurture relationships with existing clients;
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to function efficiently with minimal supervision;
  • Must have good management skills and the ability to take the lead in mobilizing resources needed to effectively and efficiently implement projects;
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Knowledgeable with Quantity Surveying, Quantity Take off, Bill of Materials, Bill of Quantities, Estimate, Costing, Bidding

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree and Professional License in Architecture
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of working experience in fit-out works
  • With experience in preparing project cost proposals and bid documents
  • Broad and significant exposure in construction
  • Open for project-based employment
