We are seeking a detail-oriented *Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer* who will be primarily responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software solutions. In addition to QA, this role includes *server management responsibilities* and *development support*, as needed, to help ensure seamless system operations and product stability.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong foundation in QA methodologies, hands-on testing experience, and working knowledge of server infrastructure and basic development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (Primary Focus)

* Develop, execute, and maintain *manual and automated test cases* for web and mobile applications.

* Perform *functional, regression, integration, and performance testing*.

* Document, track, and verify defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, GitHub Issues).

* Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define *acceptance criteria* and *test strategies*.

* Ensure *release readiness* by validating bug fixes, code changes, and feature enhancements.

* Maintain and improve QA processes, tools, and best practices.

Server Management (Secondary Responsibility)

* Monitor, maintain, and optimize application servers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-prem environments).

* Handle *basic server administration tasks*, including updates, patches, and log monitoring.

* Support deployment processes, troubleshoot server-related issues, and escalate critical matters when necessary.

* Ensure system *uptime, scalability, and security* in coordination with DevOps/IT teams.

Development Support (As Needed)

* Collaborate with the development team to *understand technical requirements* and ensure test coverage.

* Contribute to *basic code debugging, script writing, or minor feature development* when additional support is required.

* Assist in *code reviews* and provide feedback on best practices from a QA perspective.

* Help bridge the gap between QA and development for *faster resolution of issues*.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

* Proven experience as a *QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role*.

* Strong understanding of *QA methodologies, tools, and processes*.

* Hands-on experience with *automated testing frameworks* (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).

* Familiarity with *CI/CD pipelines* and version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).

* Working knowledge of *server environments* (Linux/Windows), web servers (Nginx, Apache), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

* Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java) to support automation and development tasks.

* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with *performance/load testing tools* (JMeter, Locust, k6).

* Familiarity with *containerization tools* (Docker, Kubernetes).

* Security testing knowledge (penetration testing basics, vulnerability scanning).

* Background in *DevOps or Systems Administration*.

* Strong communication and documentation skills.
