Reporting to: Fabrication Manager

Work Schedule: 5-day work week

The Costing Engineer is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for fabrication products, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and requirements.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates that meet customer specifications and expectations.
  • Accountable for ensuring the accuracy of cost estimates by maintaining acceptable variance thresholds.
  • Monitors and updates the status of RFQs regularly to reflect current progress.
  • Serves as a technical resource, addressing inquiries from Field Sales Personnel (FSPs) regarding fabrication products.
  • Recommends pricing improvements to enhance cost competitiveness and profitability.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably a licensed engineer.
  • At least two (2) years of combined experience as Costing Engineer in a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Can read and interpret Electrical Plans.
  • Organizational skills
  • Knowledgeable in switchgear design.
  • Familiar with the Philippine Electrical Code.
  • Cost Management Skills
