Position Summary:

The support service personnel shall provide support and assistance to the Engineering Department by performing civil engineering-related tasks and providing day-to-day assistance in the conduct of their field and office activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Reviews building plans and utilities, bid documents, terms of reference including project justifications, budget analyses, calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules for the project.

  2. Attends meetings/or conferences regarding the project.

  3. Serves as plan check engineer in the implementation; prepares change orders and amendments; prepares and monitors project schedules; monitors, reviews and coordinates project design and construction; evaluates contractor requests for extra work; and monitors contractor's work and enforces terms of the contract.

  4. Conducts field /construction site inspections, material testing, and quality control; ensures contractor compliance with contract documents and time and budget estimates; recommends field changes and submit daily activity report.

  5. Provides engineering support involving the drafting of shop drawings and field changes during the construction. Produces plans by inputting, retrieving, copying and transmitting data as instructed.

  6. Performs such other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php42,053.00 per month
