- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability.
- Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotions across assigned division.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Oversee supplier negotiations, sourcing, and vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels, sell-through, and product performance.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance to execute business plans.
- Lead and mentor a team of buyers/merchandisers to achieve divisional targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
- 5–7 years of merchandising or category management experience in retail.
- Proven track record in product planning, assortment, and vendor negotiations.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of merchandising systems an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
