Career Opportunities: Director of Events Management Located in the country's premier beach destination, Shangri-La's Boracay Resort and Spa is a luxurious and serene haven for vacationers. Dramatically situated on a hillside in a flourishing nature reserve at the northern tip of Boracay Island, the 12-hectare resort is a 10-minute drive from the popular White Beach. The resort offers 219 rooms including 36 villas and suites; comprehensive leisure facilities; 350 meters of secluded beachfront; and a thriving ecosystem of diverse flora and fauna.

Within the resort, guests may find a tranquil escape in Chi, The Spa. DUTIESUnder the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Events Management leads and directs the Events Management Team to achieve the catering revenue goals set by the hotel through specific sales strategy implementation outlined in the Marketing Plan. He/she is responsible for driving and providing training and personnel development to the team, as well as contributing ideas and feedback to the operation teams for service enhancement.

REQUIREMENTSHighly experienced Assistant Director of Events Management or in a similar capacity in an international resort/hotel

Knowledgeable in using Delphi system

Ability to develop strategies for business growth, with knowledge in forecasting and motivating the team to achieve revenue targets

Proven leadership skills and ability to perform consistently under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills.Willing to be relocated to Boracay Island.***Compensation and Benefits: Local Package is offered.
