Project Engineer

The Project Engineer is primarily responsible for the following:

• Support TLs, (Tech Leads) PMs (Project Managers) and PCs (Project Coordinators) in project delivery and documentation;
• Work across multiple projects and clients simultaneously be it onsite or offsite;
• Assist with the delivery of signed-off SOWs and balance stakeholder budget, time and quality;
• Assist senior members of the team with implementation and deployment;
• Carry out technical activities set by key internal and client stakeholders;
• Action technical change requests, migration and test plans;
• Provision proof of concept and pilot environments;
• Develop as-built and handover to BAU documentation;
• and Liaise with vendors and service providers to execute technical change.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS. Technical practice areas and requirements are as follows:

• Public and Private Cloud Platforms including Azure & Office 365

o Extensive all-round understanding and experience of virtualisation, storage, compute and backup technologies;

o Solid Microsoft Azure cloud product knowledge and good recent experience in leading implementation and configuration

o Strong fundamental understanding of available migration strategies, paths, risks and issues with the relevant products;

o Strong experience in leading or supporting cloud transitions into Azure, O365, Entra ID.

o Key Vendors: Microsoft Azure, Dell EMC, HPE, Pure, AWS, Cisco, VMware, Google Cloud. End-User Computing with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, MECM and Desktop Virtualisation

o Skills in deploying Windows 10/11 SOE images, applications and updates to desktops and workstations using MECM/MDT/Intune with integrated device management technologies (Enterprise Mobility + Security)

o Skills in Design to Configure for Office 365 and Intune platforms.

o Experience with Microsoft Modern Endpoint Management (Windows 10/11, Intune, AutoPilot, MECM Co-Management, Enterprise Mobility, iOS and Android).

o Knowledge of and experience with M365 Information Protection and Compliance Management

o Knowledge and experience working with most of the below technologies: Microsoft Azure, Modern Workplace (M365), Windows Server and Client, Hybrid Cloud, Knowledge of ITIL procedures & networking practices.

o Technical and analytical knowledge in the Microsoft Modern Work domain and experience in requirements gathering and solution design.

o Skills in architecting, implementing security benchmark hardening Essential 8/CIS etc.

o Key Vendors: Microsoft, Apple, Dell, HP.Microsoft Server and Messaging Technologies

o Windows server and active directory across large scale deployments;

o Exchange, Teams and Presence;

o Backup and replication, de-duplication; and

o Key Vendors: Microsoft, Veeam, Dell EMC.

Other Essential Skills:

• Commercially savvy while maintaining strong ethics and respecting client confidentiality;
• Ability to learn new product updates and technologies

KEY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Minimum 6 years ICT experience, of which:
• At least 3 years should be working in service providers; and
• At least 2 years' robust hands-on technical implementation experience in applicable core practice area.
• Previous exposure to key vendors such as Microsoft Azure, Dell EMC, HPE, AWS, Cisco, VMware, Google Cloud, Citrix and MobileIron.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail;
• Independent/autonomous worker, with ability to self-motivate under pressure;
• Logical thinker, with an ability to review and understand complex processes and use accurately;
• Takes a creative approach to problem solving and not afraid to tackle problems beyond their skill set;
• Effective multi-tasking with strong time-management skills and ability to estimate and balance workloads, as well as internal and external expectations;
• Able to work in high-pressure engagements and with high-profile clients;
• Interested in growing by taking on challenging and rewarding projects or assignments;
• and Possess a thirst for knowledge, a desire to develop skills and learn from more senior members of the team.

CERTIFICATIONS:

• Current technical vendor certifications across key vendors aforementioned are highly desirable

Pay: Php150,000.00 per month
