Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation to be provided to the Company's external auditors
  • Assist in documenting the audit process and preparing audit findings
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports that clearly reflects the audit observations and findings
  • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, and data
  • Verify and reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Do bank reconciliation audit group-wide
  • Reconcile government submitted reports especially compiling & presenting detailed tax audit documentation
  • Do a thorough analysis of the audit reports and findings to come up with ways on how the organization generate more profits and reduce cost
  • Verify customer account accuracy
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in auditing standards and regulations and ensuring compliance with the law
  • Recommend the best and proven practices for an organization to avoid fraud or reduce risks
  • Keeping informed of tax laws & regulations as well as best practices in tax management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • At least 2-years experience in the field of accounting and/or audit
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage but not required
  • Knowledgeable in Philippine Accounting standards and standard on auditing
  • Computer Literate; Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Strong ability to work on multiple tasks or assignments
  • Team player and possess high problem-solving abilities
