About the role

As an Azure DevOps Engineer (PaaS) at Ascendion, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's cloud-based software development initiatives. In this full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure-based cloud solutions to support the organisation's software engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings
  2. Automate the deployment and management of cloud resources using Azure DevOps and other tools
  3. Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration between cloud infrastructure and application code
  4. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process
  5. Monitor and optimise cloud resource utilisation, performance, and costs
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and deployments
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably with Microsoft Azure
  2. Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation
  3. Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services, such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database
  4. Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  5. Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and best practices
  6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  8. Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends
