JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring potential risks that could affect an organization's operations, assets, reputation, or compliance posture. They help ensure the organization can achieve its objectives while minimizing disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate internal and external risks (e.g., financial, operational, cybersecurity, legal, reputation).
  • Conduct regular risk assessments across departments, projects, and processes.
  • Identify emerging risks (e.g., geopolitical, regulatory changes, digital threats).
  • Prepare risk management reports and dashboards
  • Facilitate risk workshops and assessments
  • Track compliance with internal risk policies
  • Review contracts and projects for risk exposure
  • Liaise with insurance providers
  • Support internal/external audits
  • Analyze risks in terms of impact and likelihood.
  • Prioritize risks using standardized models (e.g., risk matrices, heat maps).
  • Perform scenario planning and simulations (e.g., business impact analysis).
  • Summarize key risks and trends for leadership.
  • Collaborate with departments to identify and rate risks.
  • Ensure teams follow documented controls and procedures.
  • Provide input on SLAs, liability, and risk clauses.
  • Ensure adequate coverage and manage claims if necessary.
  • Provide evidence and documentation of risk controls.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Recommend controls to reduce risk exposure.
  • Support internal audit and compliance efforts.
  • Continuously monitor known risks and report on changes or escalations.
  • Maintain a risk register and track status of risk treatment actions.
  • Provide regular risk reports to executives and the board.
  • Ensure risk programs align with industry regulations and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001/9001/25232, GDPR and other business and regulatory compliance).
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Facilitate third-party/vendor risk management assessments.
  • Support the development and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Participate in incident response and crisis management planning.
  • Ensure continuity risks are identified and addressed.
  • Promote risk awareness across the organization.
  • Train staff in risk policies and procedures.
  • Encourage a risk-aware culture by embedding risk management into decision-making processes.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or 5 years of equivalent experience within the technology space.
  • Analytical thinking – for risk evaluation and prioritization
  • Communication skills – to present risks and influence stakeholders
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks – SOX, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
  • Problem-solving – to devise effective mitigation strategies
  • Tool proficiency – risk management platforms
  • Must be open to work on site if needed or required
  • Willing to work on a US Time zone

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php120, Php150,000.00 per month
