JOB SUMMARY:

Handles the analysis of finances, maintains financial statements/records of a particular business area or unit. Monitors data flow and ensures compliance to required standards.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Reviews the monthly Income Statement dump extracted from SAP to ensure that all fields in SAP are being captured such as entity code, the period covered, General Ledger codes, and all transaction types.


• Validates and ensures that all the downloaded entry is captured and that the Income Statement balance amount is kept (Income Statement dump, an exported file from SAP containing all Income Statement GL balances for the month. This is executed every month-end closing of books after all the Finance section's P&L entries are done)


• Analyzes the appropriate financial structure and manages revenue data of 25%-35% overall company's Client's Revenue base.


• Prepares and analyzes various key Budget support schedules and financial metrics for the overall company's P&L.


• Studies financial data and deliberates with Operations and Workforce Management latest estimate (LE) on Revenue.


• Tracks business revenue and cost drivers and reports to the Business Unit Heads.


• Interprets data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences.


• Validates and ensures the integrity and proper disclosures of accounting and financial reports generated on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.


• Assists in the creation of Operating Manuals, standards, policies and procedures, and group's process maps.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:


• Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or any Finance or Business-related courses.


• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 4 years relevant work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis


• Must have proven experience in identifying key metrics, developing reports and analytical views in business intelligence tools specific to BPO industries' financials


• Must have exposure in financial planning and strategy, performing cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting, project management and profitability analysis
