The Procurement Manager will oversee and manage the procurement and purchasing activities of the company. This role is responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that projects are supplied on time and within budget. The Procurement Manager will work closely with the Planning Supervisor and Construction Management team to guarantee seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support company goals.
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors based on cost, quality, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers and the planning team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Continuously improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, as well as market research.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
