Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a talented R&D Engineer to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. What you'll be doing

  • Conduct research and development activities to design, test, and enhance new products and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into innovative engineering solutions
  • Perform feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments to ensure the viability and sustainability of new initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Develop and implement robust testing protocols to ensure the quality and reliability of new products and prototypes
  • Document and communicate research findings, design specifications, and project progress to stakeholders
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the production and operations teams to ensure the successful implementation of new products and processes

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in research and development, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry
  • Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as CAD, simulation tools, and data analysis tools
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with product development life cycle, prototyping, and testing methodologies
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
