Our Australian client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper who can manage day-to-day financial records and ensure accuracy across transactions. This is a great opportunity to apply your bookkeeping expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment while working with international clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process and record daily financial transactions such as invoices, payments, and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounting records to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and submit regular financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities when required.
  • Handle payroll processing, including calculating and disbursing employee salaries and benefits as well as preparing payroll tax obligations.
  • Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in compliance with Australian regulations.
  • Collaborate with Australian clients and teams to clarify queries and deliver accurate outputs on time.
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting related field
  • CPA license is an advantage but not mandatory
  • At least 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards
  • Proficiency with Xero and other accounting software is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work
  • Must be willing to work on a fixed AU shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM) from Monday to Friday
  • Must have a stable internet connection for a hybrid arrangement (onsite once a month). The designated remote work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members.

Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City

Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (once a month)
