General Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, ESXi, Linux and Firewall technologies. This role involves maintaining and supporting our virtualized environments, managing server infrastructure, and ensuring network security.

Specific Responsibilities:

Windows Server Management:
Administer and support Windows Server environments. Perform server installations, configurations, and upgrades. Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues. Implement and manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and DNS.

Virtualization:
Manage and support Hyper-V, Sangfor and ESXi environments, creation, deployment, and management of virtual machines. Optimize virtualization performance and troubleshoot related issues.

Firewall Technologies:
Configure and manage firewalls to ensure network security. Monitor and analyze firewall logs and traffic patterns. Implement security policies and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Linux Server Administration:
Administer, support and with in-depth knowledge of Linux: Redhat, Centos, Debian, etc. Perform server installations, configurations, and upgrades and with hands-on experience with databases. Solid knowledge in using Shell, Perl and /or Python scripting other protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP.

Infrastructure Support:
Provide technical support for server and virtualization-related issues. Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex problems. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of server configurations, network topology, and firewall rules. Prepare and present reports on system performance and security incidents.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance and security.

Others:

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

· Support in maintaining IT operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures by assisting the IT Manager.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Performs other job-related works as deemed necessary.

Qualifications:

· Windows Server or related certifications.

· VMware Certified Professional (VCP).

· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar firewall/security certifications.

Experience:

· At least 5 years of experience in IT engineering with a focus on Windows Server, Sangfor, Hyper-V, ESXi, and Firewall technologies.

· Hands-on experience with server and virtualization management.

· Proficiency in firewall configuration and network security practices.

· Experience with Linux systems administration is considered advantageous.
