JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounting Staff will be assisting with accounts receivables, billing and collections duties including, but not limited to; collections of outstanding accounts receivable from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Process all accounts receivable activity ensuring transactions are processed timely and accurately; initiating all billing statement for customers.

  2. Review open accounts for collection.

  3. Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.

  4. Resolve client-billing problems and rescue accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.

  5. Collect customer payment in accordance with payment due dates.

  6. Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with Immediate Supervisor.

  7. Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.

  8. Maintain daily bank reporting.

  9. Compiling and reviewing financial information.

  10. Preparing financial forms, documents, and reports.

  11. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial statements.

  12. Maintaining records and filing systems.

  13. Reconciliation of general ledger balance.

  14. Assist in month-end close activities including the preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

  15. Respond timely to inquiries from vendors, customers, or employees and research and resolves concerns or discrepancies

  16. Develop in-depth knowledge of accounting and operating software platforms; assist with system conversions and implementation

  17. Performing other duties as required.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any of its equivalent

1 to 2 years experience related to the job

Working knowledge of Basic Accounting Principles and Practices

Working knowledge in BIR filing is an advantage

Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
