About the role

Artech Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Tester - Load Runner to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and execute test scripts using Load Runner to simulate user scenarios and measure application performance under various load conditions
  2. Analyse test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for improvements
  3. Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
  4. Maintain and enhance the test automation framework to improve test coverage and efficiency
  5. Document test plans, test cases, and test results for reporting and knowledge sharing
  6. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the testing team

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in performance and load testing using Load Runner
  2. Proficient in creating and executing test scripts, analysing test results, and identifying performance bottlenecks
  3. Excellent understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and best practices
  4. Familiarity with web technologies, databases, and cloud-based architectures
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find creative solutions
  6. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
