ETL Tester

About the role

As an ETL Tester at ARTECH TECHNOLOGY INC', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's data integration processes. Working in a contract position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for testing and validating the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes that are fundamental to the company's data-driven operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate the accuracy, completeness, and performance of ETL pipelines
2. Identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues
3. Automating testing procedures to improve efficiency and coverage
4. Assisting in the design and implementation of data transformation and validation rules
5. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for ongoing ETL processes
6. Continuously monitoring and optimising ETL processes to ensure data quality and reliability

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as an ETL tester or software tester with a strong understanding of data integration concepts and technologies
2. Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and automation frameworks
3. Familiarity with data modelling, data transformation techniques, and SQL/SQL-based query languages
4. Experience working with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Pentaho
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
