RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and ensuring smooth workflow in the commissary kitchen and storage areas
  • Duties include washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
  • Ensure that kitchen, storage areas and garbage areas are kept clean and organized
  • Follow proper sanitation guidelines in cleaning and food handling
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies or ingredients delivered to the commissary
  • Transport goods, food items, and equipment between storage areas and kitchen work stations
  • Transport supplies from the commissary to the stores
  • Assist commissary staff with light kitchen duties such as portioning food, refilling ingredients
  • Properly dispose of trash and waste materials following safety guidelines
  • Clean and maintain kitchen tools and equipment
  • Inform management of any equipment that needs repair or replacement

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be of good moral standing
  • High school graduate preferred
  • Able-bodied (can lift 30 kg easily)
  • Previous experience in a commissary or commercial kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to handle repetitive tasks
