BOH Steward

A Steward/Dishwasher is responsible for the cleanliness of all kitchen and dining ware, supports the kitchen staff in maintaining a safe and organized environment, and upholds sanitation standards. He/she will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen by keeping all dishes, utensils, and equipment clean and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

Dishwashing & Sanitation

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using manual and/or industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Ensure all items are properly cleaned, dried, and stored in designated areas.
• Follow proper procedures for handling and sanitizing food-contact surfaces.
• Regularly empty trash and recycling bins in the dish and kitchen areas.

Kitchen Support

• Clean and maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen prep areas, including floors, drains, walls, and shelving.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed (e.g., peeling vegetables, unpacking deliveries).
• Refill soap and sanitizer dispensers and ensure dish machines are filled and functioning properly.
• Alert management to any broken or damaged equipment, utensils, or dishware.

Inventory & Waste Management

• Assist in proper sorting and disposal of kitchen waste and recyclables.
• Monitor and report low stock of cleaning supplies and chemicals.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate is accepted
• Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and safely in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up heavy equipment
• Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Willing to relocate/transfer in different branches

Pay: From Php695.00 per day
