Position: Marketing Manager

Reports to: Owners/Managing Partners (Wantusawa & The Orient Pearl)

Work Location: Split between Poblacion (Wantusawa) and BGC (The Orient Pearl), with fieldwork and remote tasks as needed.

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing and brand strategy for Wantusawa and The Orient Pearl. This includes driving customer acquisition, improving brand visibility, creating promotions, optimizing digital presence, and ensuring consistent brand positioning across both restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Strategy

* Develop and execute annual marketing plans aligned with the business goals of both brands.

* Position Wantusawa and The Orient Pearl as go-to destinations in their categories (Oyster Bar & Seafood Bar).

* Create seasonal and event-based campaigns to drive traffic and revenue.

Digital & Social Media Marketing

* Manage content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Business.

* Oversee creatives (photos, videos, copywriting) to ensure brand consistency.

* Monitor analytics and optimize based on engagement and ROI.

Events & Partnerships

* Plan and execute in-house promotions (happy hours, seasonal menus, chef's table, etc.).

* Build partnerships with influencers, lifestyle media, hotel concierges, and corporate accounts.

* Organize PR events, collaborations, and pop-ups to expand reach.

Customer Engagement

* Monitor and respond to online reviews (Google, FB, IG) to build reputation.

* Launch loyalty programs, referral promotions, or VIP club campaigns.

* Conduct customer surveys to gain insights on preferences and satisfaction.

Budget & Reporting

* Manage and track the marketing budget across both brands.

* Provide monthly reports on campaign performance, sales impact, and ROI.

* Recommend adjustments based on data and market trends.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

* 3–5 years' experience in F&B, hospitality, or lifestyle marketing.

* Strong grasp of digital marketing, content creation, and social media trends.

* Experience with PR, events, and influencer partnerships.

* Data-driven mindset with experience in Google Analytics, Meta Ads, or similar tools.

* Excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Result Areas (KRA) – Marketing Manager

  1. Brand Visibility & Awareness

Wantusawa: Increase IG followers from ~19,000 to *22,000** in 6 months (~16% growth).

Wantusawa: Increase FB Page Likes from ~20,100 to *22,000** in 6 months.

The Orient Pearl: Grow IG from ~1,900 to *5,000** in 12 months.

The Orient Pearl: Increase FB Page Likes from ~600 to *1,500** within 1 year.

Achieve an average *engagement rate of 3–5%** on IG posts.

  1. Customer Acquisition & Retention

Increase monthly foot traffic by *10% MoM** attributed to marketing campaigns.

Grow Google Reviews rating to *4.5+** and maintain positive sentiment.

Launch at least *1 loyalty/referral program** per year.

Enroll at least *300 unique customers** in loyalty/referral campaigns in the first 6 months (Wantusawa).

  1. Revenue Growth from Marketing Campaigns

Drive *10–15% sales uplift** during major promotions.

Achieve at least *3:1 ROI** on paid advertising spend.

Each event/collaboration should generate at least *15% incremental sales uplift**.

  1. Digital & Online Performance

Maintain *90%+ response rate** on inquiries/messages within 24 hours.

Ensure *95%+ content calendar execution consistency**.

Optimize Google My Business to rank in *top 3 for target searches** (e.g., "oyster bar Makati", "seafood BGC").

  1. Events & Partnerships

Execute at least *1 collaboration/event per quarter**.

Secure at least *5 strategic partnerships** per year (corporate, lifestyle, media).

  1. Operational & Budget Discipline

* Stay within allocated marketing budget with max ±5% variance.

Submit *monthly performance reports** on time with insights and recommendations.
