About the Role

At Concepts & Designs (C&D), we believe that every click, scroll, and purchase tells a story. We create meaningful digital experiences that inspire action and we're looking for someone who knows how to turn those actions into measurable results.

Key Responsbilities

  • Analyze website and landing page performance to identify conversion barriers.
  • Develop and execute A/B tests, heatmap reviews, and funnel analyses.
  • Improve user journeys and site usability.
  • Analyze visitor behavior (Hotjar/GA4) and implement conversion fixes
  • Audit Shopify storefront and checkout flow (using analytics/heatmaps)
  • Rewrite CTAs, button texts, and microcopy for higher conversions
  • Recommend layout and visual hierarchy improvements (esp. for mobile)
  • Suggest or implement Shopify apps for trust, urgency, and credibility
  • Optimize checkout experience (cart reminders, simplified flow, payment trust icons)
  • Provide before-and-after mockups or live updates in Shopify (depending on access)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and UI/UX design, preferably in Shopify or eCommerce environments.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, usability principles, and behavioral analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar analytics/heatmap tools.
  • Skilled in A/B testing, landing page optimization, and funnel performance analysis.
  • Ability to audit and optimize Shopify storefronts, including checkout flows, product pages, and mobile experiences.
  • Excellent sense of visual hierarchy, layout composition, and microcopy writing (CTAs, buttons, and prompts that convert).
  • Familiar with conversion-focused Shopify apps (e.g., for trust badges, cart recovery, and urgency timers).
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or Shopify theme editing is a plus.
