JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Assisting staff members in the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.

  2. Ensure that the department accomplishes accounting objectives by supervising and mentoring staff

  3. Organize financial data into usable information and maintain updated records

  4. Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues

  5. Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives in a timely and efficient manner

  6. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

  7. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  8. General understanding of Tax and Accounting issues.

  9. Timely closing and execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA agreements, fully observing tax compliances.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Candidate must possess a Bachelor / College Degree in Accounting.

  2. With 2-3 years' experience as an Accounting Officer / Supervisor.

  3. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

  4. Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formula

  5. Ability to process large amount of numerical data

  6. Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills

  7. High attention to detail and accuracy

  8. Strong management and leadership skills

  9. Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills

  10. Willing to work in Makati City.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Saturday
