What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and associated methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code, microservices, monitoring)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices (authentication, encryption, protocols, etc.)
  • Experience creating test documentation including test plans, test cases, execution reports
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar platforms for managing test cases and defects
  • Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A customer-focused, collaborative team player who can also work independently
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Proven ability to conduct and manage complete testing cycles, from planning to sign-off
  • Experience supporting production verification testing

Nice to Have:

  • ISTQB or Certified International Software Testing Qualification (or equivalent)

What will you do?

Test Planning & Execution

  • Develop and manage test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test execution across business and technology initiatives
  • Ensure traceability between requirements and test outcomes across all test phases
  • Facilitate and execute Technical Acceptance Testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ensure test environments are correctly configured and available as scheduled
  • Coordinate and execute defect resolution, tracking, and reporting throughout the test lifecycle
  • Provide test execution reports, insights, and raise risks or issues to project stakeholders

Project & Business Engagement

  • Work closely with project managers, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and define testing needs
  • Maintain stakeholder engagement and build deep product knowledge to ensure optimal test coverage
  • Provide support during small business enhancements and large-scale project implementations
  • Align testing activities with broader project management and change control processes

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of test processes, documentation, and frameworks
  • Work across multiple projects with varying scopes, prioritising effectively under tight deadlines
  • Support training documentation review and ensure testing aligns with business expectations
