Automation Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Lead to spearhead our test automation efforts in the life insurance domain. The ideal candidate will lead a team of testers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

The Automation Lead will be responsible for designing and developing automation test scripts using TOSCA, defining and implementing best practices in test automation frameworks, strategy, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the automation testing efforts across projects in the life insurance domain.
  • Design and develop automation test scripts using TOSCA.
  • Define and implement best practices in test automation frameworks, strategy, and processes.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and business analyst teams to ensure quality delivery.
  • Ensure test coverage across functional and regression testing using automation.
  • Review test cases, scripts, and defects to ensure high standards.
Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
  • At least 2+ years of experience working with TOSCA.
  • Strong understanding of the life insurance domain, including product rules, policy lifecycle, claims, and underwriting processes.
  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, TestComplete) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • ISTQB or other testing certifications.
