Role Overview:

We are establishing a new engineering team in Manila to create the next generation of intelligent capabilities for our SaaS platform. You will work on high-impact projects that integrate AI and automation into core business workflows, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across different regions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and implement new features using modern technologies while integrating with legacy components as part of our long-term modernization strategy. You will also help establish best practices, mentor peers, and leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable features in a modern web stack (React, TypeScript, , .NET Core).
  • Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to integrate with existing systems (Sencha, .NET 4.7, MS SQL Server).
  • Develop new services using PostgreSQL, ensuring interoperability with legacy SQL Server codebases and complex T-SQL logic.
  • Participate in agile SCRUM ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
  • Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities (including LLM-based features) into product workflows.
  • Ensure high standards of software quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
  • Collaborate with DevOps on containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Work closely with product and design teams to ensure UI/UX excellence.
  • Use AI-assisted coding and code-review tools as part of daily development.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and help shape architectural direction.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of professional software development experience building SaaS products.
  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
  • Experience with and/or .NET Core for backend services.
  • Solid understanding of SQL databases (preferably both PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server).
  • Experience working with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Prior experience integrating LLMs or other AI/ML models into production systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an eye for clean, maintainable code.
  • Comfortable working with agile development practices (SCRUM) and tools like JIRA and Git.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have:

  • Experience modernizing large or legacy systems.
  • Familiarity with microservices, message queues, or event-driven architectures.
  • Exposure to DevOps workflows and CI/CD automation.
  • Understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 10pm to 7am PHT
