About the role

Join the dynamic team at Korweld, Inc. as a full-time Technician. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art welding equipment and machinery. Based in our Manila City facility, you will be a key contributor to the success of our Trades & Services operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform routine maintenance and servicing on a variety of welding equipment and tools
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and implement effective solutions
  3. Collaborate with the production team to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability
  4. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and repair work
  5. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to protect both personnel and equipment
  6. Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Formal technical training or qualifications in welding, industrial maintenance or a related field
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Technician or in a similar role
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
  5. Adaptable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  6. Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry advancements
