About the role

Aextech Inc. is seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Technician to join our team. The position will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of Gulfstream and Bombardier Challenger aircraft. As a Sheetmetal Technician, you will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, fabricating and installing aircraft components, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform detailed inspections of aircraft structures and components
  2. Fabricate and install aircraft sheetmetal parts and assemblies
  3. Carry out repairs and modifications to aircraft structures and components
  4. Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve technical issues
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, manuals, and industry standards
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our maintenance processes

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 7 years of experience as a Sheetmetal Technician, with a focus on Gulfstream and Bombardier Challenger aircraft
  2. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
  3. Skilled in using a variety of sheetmetal fabrication tools and equipment
  4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Valid aircraft maintenance certification or license
