The Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, systems, or devices according to company standards and safety regulations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal operation and reliability of all assigned systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test, and diagnose equipment or system malfunctions.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and calibration as needed.
  • Install and configure equipment, tools, or software according to specifications.
  • Document work performed, test results, and any parts replaced or repaired.
  • Respond promptly to service calls or technical support requests.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and manage inventory of tools and spare parts.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to resolve technical issues.
  • Continuously update technical skills and knowledge through training and certifications.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a technician in [specific field, e.g., electrical, mechanical, IT, HVAC].
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, testing instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, or operate tools and equipment as required.
