Planner / Scheduler – Corrugated Boxes

Short Job Description

  • Develop and prepare production schedules for corrugating and converting lines based on customer orders and delivery dates.
  • Calculate material requirements such as paper rolls (BF/CF/Medium) and ink consumption based on order dimensions, flute type, and quantity.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse to ensure raw material availability.
  • Monitor WIP and adjust schedules to minimize downtime and avoid bottlenecks.
  • Consider machine capacity, order priority, and setup times to optimize production efficiency.
  • Communicate daily schedules and schedule changes to all relevant departments.
  • Track lead times and ensure on-time delivery of all finished goods.
  • Generate production and inventory performance reports for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2–5 years in production planning, scheduling, or materials management in a manufacturing environment (preferably in corrugated or packaging industry).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in production planning and scheduling tools (ERP/MRP systems).
  • Able to compute material requirements (paper rolls, ink, adhesives) accurately.
  • Understanding of corrugated box specifications (GSM, flute type, sheet size, etc.) and production processes.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and supply chain coordination.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Able to identify bottlenecks, optimize production flow, and minimize material wastage.
  • Communication & Coordination: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams.
  • Other Skills: Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php17, Php18,000.00 per month
