Supplier Management

  • Source and evaluate international suppliers based on cost competitiveness, product quality, and delivery reliability.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain an updated supplier database.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.

Procurement Operations

  • Prepare, process, and follow up on purchase orders, ensuring timely approvals and supplier confirmations.
  • Coordinate and verify import documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List).
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, import/export regulations, and international trade standards.

Logistics & Shipment Coordination

  • Track international shipments and provide regular delivery status updates to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers to secure timely and compliant clearance.
  • Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth end-to-end procurement and payment processes.

Records & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and filing systems for audits and internal reporting.
  • Assist in preparing procurement-related reports and performance analyses.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably with exposure to international/import transactions.
  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of import procedures, customs documentation, and INCOTERMS.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
