Our Information Technology team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati City with the role of Technology Architect. 

In this role, you will help document and design the Bank's current and future technology architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals. You will support the development of a technology roadmap and enforce architecture standards across projects and teams.

What the role will entail 

  • Document the current Technology Architecture, including on-premise infrastructure, cloud environments, and network systems 
  • Establish the to-be Technology Architecture based on current business needs and future goals 
  • Develop a technology roadmap in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Team 
  • Coordinate with development teams, infrastructure teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to identify and execute projects aligned with the roadmap 
  • Assist in establishing, documenting, and enforcing Technology Architecture standards 
  • Provide consultation and present updates to Senior Management, Executive Management, and the Board 

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Systems Analysis, or any related field is required; a postgraduate degree or The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification is an advantage 
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT disciplines such as server/network/cloud/database administration or management 
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Technology Architecture, with practical involvement in digital transformation initiatives including infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, containerization, and DevSecOps implementation. 
  • Familiarity with banking systems (Core Banking, Loan Management, Automated Teller Machine (ATM) Host) and platforms like Temenos and Narada is an advantage 
  • Broad exposure to diverse technologies and platforms, with strong understanding of emerging tech trends, agile methodologies, product management, and architectural strategy; experience in banking and presenting to senior stakeholders is a plus. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and consulting skills, with the ability to work across teams and engage senior stakeholders
