About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Staff to join our team at AFDR INSURANCE BROKERS INC. This full-time position is based in Makati City Metro Manila and will be responsible for handling a range of accounting duties to support the overall financial operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounts
  • Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Providing support for month-end and year-end close processes
  • Performing data entry and general administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Possess relevant accounting qualifications or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Fresh graduate or a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts clerk or similar accounting role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • CPA license is preferred but not required (Fresh graduates holding a CPA license are highly encouraged to apply)
