This position is responsible in the implementation and maintenance of health, safety and environmental programs and associated quality assurance policies and regulations.

Specific Duties

  • Responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions;
  • Trains employees on safety policies, procedures and regulations;
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws on health and safety;
  • Ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines;
  • Participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspections;
  • Provided inspectors with appropriate documents and identifies safety measures;
  • Aligned with the latest updates on Occupational Safety and Health Administration;
  • Conducts regular site walks;
  • Ensures equipment/tools are safe and compliant to applicable statutory regulations;
  • Ensures the safety of outsourced personnel during construction by following applicable rules;
  • Conducts regular safety orientations and safety drills for every construction site and to all office staff;
  • Performs other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

Qualification

  1. Educational Background (Minimum educational requirement and/or specific course requirement for the position)

  2. bachelor's degree in area of specialty or its equivalent

  3. Training/Experience (Training/seminars, short courses required to perform the job)

  4. with certification on Occupational Safety and Health training or Construction Occupational Safety and Heath training

  5. with relevant experience in health and safety implementation
  6. familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures in health and safety
  7. familiar with office management

  8. adept with computer applications

  9. Specific Skills and/or attitude

  10. organized

  11. keen to details
  12. able to multi-task
  13. can carry-out and relay verbal and written instructions
  14. good communications skills
  15. team player
