Job Title: Finance Manager

Role Overview:

The Finance Manager with Audit responsibilities oversees the organization's financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. This role ensures effective financial management while coordinating internal and external audits, monitoring internal controls, and supporting decision-making with accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities: Finance Officer

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Monitor cash flow, income, and expenditures to ensure financial stability.
  • Provide management with insights for budgeting and decision-making.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Track budget utilization and report variances.
  • Recommend cost-control measures and financial efficiency improvements.

Accounts Management

  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ensure timely billing, collections, and payments to suppliers/vendors.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledgers.

Compliance & Internal Control

  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
  • File and process tax returns, BIR/SEC filings, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets.

Payroll & Employee Benefits

  • Ensure statutory deductions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, withholding taxes) are properly filed and remitted.
  • Maintain records of employee benefits and reimbursements.

Audit & Documentation

  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial reviews.
  • Prepare supporting documents for audits and regulatory inspections.

Financial Analysis & Decision Support

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations to management for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Support business units with financial insights for project feasibility and investments.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with other departments to align financial planning with company goals.
  • Support procurement, HR, and operations with financial advice and approvals.
  • Communicate financial matters clearly to both technical and non-financial staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
  • Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and audit coordination (both internal and external).
  • Experience in a construction, real-estate, engineering, or project-based industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices
