Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative part-time UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team with the opportunity to switch to a full-time role in the future. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defining the user experience and visual identity of our products. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for our AI agent driven Kubernetes management platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into impactful designs.
  • Design and prototype user interfaces for web applications, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and product goals.
  • Conduct UX research and usability testing to gather feedback and inform design decisions.
  • Come up with concepts while also creating wireframes, user flows, mockups and high-fidelity designs.
  • Optimize designs for accessibility, responsiveness, and performance wherever possible.
  • Stay up to date with UI/UX design trends and best practices, especially utilizing AI while applying them to improve the product.
  • Work with developers to ensure accurate implementation of the designs.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer or related.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing web design projects, including user research and an understanding of design processes.
  • Proficiency in using Figma and managing design systems.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS) to communicate effectively with developers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in English as we are a remote international team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Experience using AI apps/tools to create or communicate ideas, wireframes, designs and prototypes with apps like Figma Make, Uizard, Lovable, Replit, Bolt, Cursor or similar.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience designing SaaS platforms or enterprise applications is a plus.
  • Experience with designing visuals like graphs, tools or dashboards for developers and technical users.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms or Kubernetes.
