Systems Administrator (AU, IT, Hybrid)

Schedule: 7 am to 4 pm

Location: Hybrid/Office-based (Philippines)

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Skills:

• 3-4+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator, IT Engineer, or similar role within a cloud-first environment
• Strong proficiency in Okta administration — including Universal Directory, Lifecycle Management, SSO, and MFA
• Deep experience with Google Workspace (Users, Groups, Drive, Gmail, Security & Compliance Center)
• Hands-on experience with endpoint security platforms (Crowdstrike preferred)
• Familiarity with AWS cloud administration, particularly IAM roles and policies
• Scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, GAM, or Bash)
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices, DLP, and access controls
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Highly Valued:

• Vendor certifications (Okta, Google, Microsoft, AWS, or similar)
• Experience implementing Privileged Access Management (PAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), or Security Service Edge (SSE) / Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solutions
• Experience with email gateway migrations (e.g., Proofpoint to Cloudflare)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tools like Terraform
• Process automation experience for IT operations and user lifecycle management

What You'll Do

As a Systems Administrator within the ConnectOS Technology team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the stable, secure, and scalable operation of our corporate IT systems. You'll own identity and access management, SaaS platform administration, and core infrastructure improvements that support the company's growth and security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Administer and secure the Okta environment, managing SSO applications, MFA, and user lifecycle processes
• Lead the rollout of a new Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution
• Conduct regular access reviews and compliance audits

SaaS & Collaboration Platforms

• Manage the Google Workspace environment, including users, groups, drives, and integrations
• Oversee Slack administration for user access, channels, integrations, and security settings
• Act as the main contact for troubleshooting and support of corporate SaaS tools

Security Operations & Projects

• Manage and tune Crowdstrike to protect endpoints and ensure fleet health
• Support the migration from Proofpoint to Cloudflare Email Gateway
• Lead initiatives to enhance Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities and deploy Security Service Edge (SSE) and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solutions

Cloud Infrastructure Support

• Administer AWS access and permissions, enforcing least-privilege principles
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enable secure access to cloud resources

Automation & Process Improvement

• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and security
• Develop scripts/workflows for onboarding, offboarding, and system reporting
• Maintain clear documentation for all systems and processes

You'll join the Technology Department under the IT Support Lead, collaborating with global stakeholders to secure and optimize ConnectOS' growing IT environment. This role focuses on ownership of identity, access, and corporate infrastructure management—critical to enabling secure scaling of the business.
