System Administrator

What will you do?

● Identity & Access Management (IAM):

○ Administer, maintain, and secure our Okta environment,

including Single Sign-On (SSO) applications, Multi-Factor

Authentication (MFA) policies, and user lifecycle management

○ Play a leading role in the planning and implementation of a

new Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution to secure

access to critical infrastructure.

○ Conduct regular access reviews and audits to ensure

compliance with security policies.

● SaaS & Collaboration Platform Administration:

○ Manage the full suite of Google Workspaces, including user

accounts, groups, security settings, shared drives, and

third-party app integrations.

○ Administer our Slack environment, managing channels, user

access, integrations, and security policies.

○ Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and

support for all corporate SaaS applications.

● Security Operations & Projects:

○ Manage and tune our endpoint security platform

(Crowdstrike) to protect against threats and ensure fleet

health.

○ Administer our email security gateway, including supporting

the planned migration from Proofpoint to the Cloudflare Email

Gateway.

○ Lead the initiative to uplift our Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

capabilities within Google Workspace.

○ Drive the design and rollout of a new Security Service Edge

(SSE) and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solution to enhance our

network security posture.

● Cloud Infrastructure Support:

○ Manage user access and permissions within our AWS

environment, utilising IAM roles and policies to enforce the

principle of least privilege.

○ Collaborate with the engineering teams to ensure secure and

efficient access to AWS and other cloud resources for our

corporate users.

● Automation & Process Improvement:

○ Identify opportunities for automation within IT operations to

improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance

security.

○ Develop scripts and workflows to automate routine tasks such as user onboarding/offboarding, reporting, and system checks.

○ Create and maintain clear documentation for systems,

processes, and procedures.

What are we looking for?

● Okta: Strong proficiency in managing Okta, including Universal

Directory, Lifecycle Management, SSO, and MFA.

● Google Workspace: Deep experience with Google Workspace

administration (Users, Groups, Drive, Gmail, Security & Compliance

Center).

● Endpoint Security: Hands-on experience with modern EDR solutions

(Crowdstrike preferred).

● Cloud: Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, with a focus

on IAM administration.

● Scripting: Demonstrable scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python,

PowerShell, GAM, or Bash).

● Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver

results in a fast-paced environment.

● Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to

manage and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:

● 3-4+ years of hands-on experience in a System Administrator, IT

Engineer, or similar role within a cloud-first environment.)

● Direct experience implementing or managing any of the following:

Privileged Access Management (PAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), or

Security Service Edge (SSE) / Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solutions.

● Experience with email gateway migrations (e.g., Proofpoint to

Cloudflare or similar)
