SERVICE ENGINEER

Micro Biological Laboratory Inc. (MICROLAB)

Job Description:

  • SALES AND SERVICE FUNCTIONS:
  • Manages an assigned portfolio of customers.
  • Provides technical support within the assigned area or customer base.
  • Assists Sales Representatives in the delivery, installation and pullout of instruments and equipment during demonstrations. Includes processing of entry and exit pass if the Sales Representative is not available at the time of the demo delivery or pullout.
  • Installs instruments and equipment sold to customers.
  • Monitors warranty visit schedules and warranty status of assigned units
  • Conducts warranty visits promptly to customers with newly purchased units.
  • Collaborates with the Service Manager in preparing the annual budget.
  • Promotes and sells Preventive Maintenance Agreements (PMA) and Annual Maintenance Agreements (AMA).
  • Conducts service visits for customers with active PMA or AMA contracts.
  • Assists the Stock Custodian/Secretary in verifying the condition of received instruments, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Responds promptly to customer inquiries and service support requests.
  • Prepares and submits service quotations to customers.
  • Negotiates and secures job orders.
  • Delivers and collects completed Job Orders.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers.
  • Provides support to Sales Representatives during exhibits and events, as needed.
  • Provides support to other Service Engineers during demo, installation or conventions as needed.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:

  • Develops a solid understanding of assigned product lines.
  • Gains technical expertise through participation in local and international service training programs.

ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS:

  • Submits Daily Itinerary Reports (DTR) and Technical Service Reports (TSR).
  • Prepares and submits the preventive maintenance schedule for contracted units.
  • Submits weekly expense reports to the Accounting Department.
  • Reports and discusses issues encountered with serviced instruments or equipment with the Department Head and/or relevant Sales Representatives.
  • Regularly updates the customer database.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Preferably Licensed Mechanical Electrical Engineer.
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • With atleast 6 month to 1 year related work experience
  • Able to multi-task and have keen eye for details
  • MUST possess a good coordination skills
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Applicant must be willing to work in Makati City

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
