A. Material Planning & Forecasting

· Plan and schedule timely delivery of materials based on production forecasts, order demands, and historical utilization

· Analyze material requirements according to sales forecasts, actual orders, and consumption data.

· Review, understand, and analyze material specifications to ensure correct procurement.

· Plan priority orders to reduce risks of production delays due to material shortages.

· Prepare and document memos for any material concerns or issues encountered.

· Ensure timely resolution of material-related issues and proper escalation as needed.

B. Procurement & Supplier Coordination

· Communicate with both local and international suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and material quality concerns.

· Track and monitor supplier performance, deliveries, discrepancies, and quality issues.

· Prepare purchase orders, follow up order fulfillment, shipment tracking and delivery schedule

C. Inventory Management

· Ensure material allocation and usage follow planned schedules and are issued properly.

· Prepare regular material status and inventory reports.

D. Cross Functional Coordination

· Coordinate material requirements, schedules, and updates with concerned departments

· Collaborate with Warehouse and material inspectors on quality, delivery, and storage issues.

· Work with stakeholders on specific models or material usage concerns.

· Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to material planning and efficiency.

· Work closely with production to avoid delay due to material shortages

Qualifications:

· College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering.

· At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in material planning, production planning, procurement, inventory control, or supply chain in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

· Experience in dealing with both local and international suppliers is a plus.

· Familiarity with import/export documentation and procedures is beneficial.

· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts) and basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.

· Understanding inventory management principles, forecasting, and lead time analysis.

· Knowledge of production processes, material flow, and standard operating procedures for warehousing and logistics.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

· Good written and verbal communication skills, especially for coordinating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

· High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

· Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

· Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills
