Inspection & Sorting
  • Inspect plastic packaging products (e.g., pouches, bags, containers) returned from Quality Control or production.
  • Identify defects such as misprints, uneven seals, holes, incomplete cuts, deformities, or contamination.
  • Sort items according to defect type, severity, and rework needs.
Repair & Rework
  • Perform repair tasks such as trimming excess materials, resealing edges, removing contaminants, or reworking minor defects.
  • Use tools or equipment needed for repair (e.g., heat sealer, cutters) safely and properly.
  • Ensure that all repaired products meet quality and safety standards before returning to production.
Quality Assurance Support
  • Follow QC instructions and repair guidelines set by the quality team.
  • Segregate items that can no longer be repaired and label them properly.
  • Report recurring defects or abnormalities to the Repair Section Lead or QC Inspector.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Record daily repair output, defect types, and rejected items.
  • Submit accurate reports to the supervisor to support quality and production analysis.
  • Update repair logs and checklists as required.
Production Coordination
  • Coordinate with Production Operators and Quality Inspectors to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Assist in handling and arranging materials within the repair area.
  • Support other tasks assigned by the supervisor when needed.
Safety & Housekeeping
  • Follow safety rules and wear required PPE at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the repair section.
  • Immediately report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or vocational course related to manufacturing (preferred).
  • Experience in plastic packaging or production setting is an advantage.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
  • Basic knowledge of repair tools (heat sealers, cutters) is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Willing to follow instructions, safety rules, and quality protocols.
