Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Staff / Handyman to ensure the hotel's facilities, equipment, and premises are well-maintained and safe. The ideal candidate will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and assist in improving hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and minor repairs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance checks on hotel facilities and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff or guests.
  • Assist in setting up and arranging hotel rooms, furniture, and facilities when needed.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and hotel standards.
  • Report major repairs or issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Management.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent; technical/vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, repair work, or as a handyman.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and performing manual tasks.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
