Job Summary:
We are seeking a customer service–oriented Owner Relations Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact between the company and mineral/property owners. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume inbound calls and emails while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and eager to support both external owners and internal teams in a timely, courteous manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage inbound phone calls and emails from mineral and property owners during scheduled shifts.
- Provide accurate and timely information using company systems and databases.
- Collect and route key documents (e.g., change of address forms, tax documentation, and ownership updates) to the appropriate internal team members.
- Collaborate with accounting and land administration teams to ensure clear and efficient information flow.
- Maintain organized records of owner communications and documentation for compliance and payment processing.
- Escalate complex inquiries to the appropriate department while maintaining ownership of follow-up.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service in all interactions.
- Support special projects such as division order processing as skills and experience grow.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- 2+ years of customer service or client support experience, ideally in a detail-oriented, problem-solving environment.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills with clear, professional phone presence.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to process high-volume communications accurately.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning new systems quickly.
- Reliable internet connection to ensure consistent access to VOIP phone and company systems.
- Ability to work US hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the oil and gas industry or familiarity with mineral/owner relations.
- Exposure to EnergyLink, BOLO accounting, or Quorum land systems.
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Communications, or related field.
- Interest in career growth toward expanded land or division order responsibilities.
