  1. Receive, inspect, evaluate, and analyze raw materials upon receipt from various suppliers. Ensure raw materials received conform to approved quality, specifications and standards. Ensure received raw material weights are correct within acceptable deviation limits.

  2. Receive, inspect, and count packaging materials upon receipt from various suppliers. Ensure packaging materials conform to approved specifications and standards.

  3. Monitor inventory of raw materials and packaging materials; prepare purchase requisition as appropriate to replenish supply of materials.

  4. Maintain specification descriptions for all packaging materials and Certificate of Analysis (COAs) for all raw materials.

  5. Perform inventory count of raw materials and packaging materials on a quarterly basis and as needed. Investigate discrepancies as appropriate.

  6. Assist in overseeing building and facilities maintenance and associated utilities to ensure compliance to sanitation and hygiene requirements.

  7. Monitor boiler and gas usage, water service and filler machines.

  8. Perform in-line procedures such as filling, weighing, sealing, tagging, and coding, as needed.

  9. Assist in monitoring of production area and assigning tasks to machine operators and production helpers as needed.

  10. Assist in quality control during and after production as needed.

  11. Comply with GMP and HACCP practices to ensure food safety.

  12. Assist in conducting R&D batch trial runs and testing of R&D products as needed.

  13. Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
